YOGA TEXTS

The study of classic spiritual texts can be a great help to the seeker of Truth. While the Absolute is beyond description, the mind still needs some idea of the goal and volumes have been written to provide that idea. Many of these scriptures were written in Sanskrit. Sanskrit is a complex language that can be difficult to translate into English. The goal of this site is to present clear English interpretations that are true to the original.

The Yoga texts presented on this site are the Bhagavad Gītā, Śiva Sūtras, Vidya Gītā, Vijñāna Bhairava, Vivekacūḍāmaṇi, and the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali.

Hopefully, you will find them helpful.
